How do I find my ring size?
Ring sizes follow international sizing tables. If you are unsure, write to me with the WhatsApp button on this page and I will help you find the right size before you order.

What is Keum-boo?
An ancient Korean technique: thin laminated sheets of 24kt gold are fused directly onto sterling silver with heat and pressure, without any soldering. I laminate the gold myself, choosing the thickness according to the piece, so the pattern is different on every piece.

Does the gold wear off?
Not in the way plating does: the gold is fused into the surface of the silver, so it does not flake or peel. It does have thickness, though, and sits in slight relief. On a ring worn every day the constant rubbing gradually softens that relief, and after ten years or so the gold takes on a slightly worn look. That is the natural life of the technique, and the piece can be retouched.

How do I care for this piece?
Differently from plain silver, and this matters. Do not use baking soda, a toothbrush or any abrasive: they would damage the gold finish. Polish gently with a soft cloth only.

How can I check the status of an order?
When your order is shipped, you will receive an email notification including a tracking number that you can use to check the status of your order. The tracking information will be available within 48 hours.

If you do not receive your order within 7days of receiving the dispatch confirmation email, please contact us at chiara@chiaradefilippis.it specifying your name and order number and we will make the necessary checks.

Refunds, returns and exchanges


Under European consumer law you have 14 days from delivery to withdraw from your purchase, provided the item is unused and in its original condition. Return shipping costs are borne by the customer, unless the product is defective or there was an error on our part. Personalised, custom-made and modified pieces are excluded from the right of withdrawal.

Care Instructions

Silver: clean with very hot water and baking soda, rubbing gently with a toothbrush, then polish with a soft cloth. Never wear silver in thermal springs.

Keum-boo, patinas and gemstones: polish with a soft cloth only — no baking soda, no toothbrush, no abrasives.
